    About Nathan Mitton

    Dr. Nathan Mitton is the co-founder of SanaVita Health & Wellness and a Doctor of Chiropractic known for his evidence-based, patient-centered approach to musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. He works with active adults, athletes, and individuals seeking lasting solutions to pain, injury, and movement limitations.

    Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Biology from Fort Lewis College (Magna Cum Laude), completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States (Cum Laude), and holds a physiotherapy license. His clinical approach emphasizes movement-based and orthopedic diagnosis, integrating comprehensive neuro-orthopedic examination with modern movement assessment to guide individualized care. He is attentive and patient, taking the time to understand each individual’s goals, limitations, and lifestyle so care is thoughtful, collaborative, and appropriately tailored.

    In addition to SanaVita, Nathan is the founder of Durango Spine & Sport, an evidence-based sports chiropractic practice where he has worked with recreational, elite, and professional athletes. Across both practices, his care integrates Diversified spinal and extremity manipulation, targeted soft-tissue techniques, rehabilitation and corrective exercise to support return to sport, performance optimization, and long-term physical resilience.

    Outside the clinic, Nathan enjoys strength training, mountain biking, hiking, and summiting peaks in the Colorado mountains. He values time with his partner and her children and believes an active lifestyle is central to long-term health and performance.
